I believe that Susan Boyle went into the hospital because she did have a breakdown. But besides that, I do, also, believe that she has had--while not plastic surgery---botox and some facial resurfacing on her skin. This is just my opinion from looking at her original video and comparing them with subsequent videos. Her skin looks so much smoother now. I don't care how good her makeup artist is, I don't think that he could pull off making her skin look so much better without botox, etc..
