General Hospital 1996 - Return of the Cassadines part 48

Laura calls out Nikolas' name but he just walks right by her and into the elevator. Luke tries to chase him down but is too late and Nikolas has gotten away. Luke tells Laura to let Nikolas go and forget about him because he's a Cassadine. Nikolas tells Stefan of his encounter with Laura and Stefan warns Nikolas again about getting too close and tells him that Laura has never cared about him and never will. Laura insists to Luke that she has to try to make some kind of connection with Nikolas and Luke tells her it's too much to ask of their family.

Yeah he didn't like Lucky at all in the beginning and I think held him partially responsible for why his mother never came back to Greece to see him.

I think a lot of Stefan's anger toward Laura and need for revenge is because she didn't come back to him once Stavros was dead. It makes sense later when all of his connection to Laura is revealed. And that is really the nail in the coffin of LnL. But again, Laura often lied when she couldn't or didn't want to face the truth. I also find it ironic Luke says the product of rape when Laura thought she was pregnant after he raped her.

@Matuatay2 I also think Nikolas felt a special bond with Lulu. She was a baby who needed him (a Cassadine) and she accepted him immediately. I think he disassociated Lulu from all the bad feelings he had toward Luke and Laura. Lucky was too obviously a part of them. The son that could be accepted.

Luke has some hell of a nerve to say Nikalos is no good as I recall when Luke came on the scene he was no good as he put it but everyone gave him a chance. Suddenly he's so righteous please,he's sooo selfish to keep a mother from her child especially since he just saved his sisters life!!!

He didn't force himself on her, but he made her choose...be in his bed as his wife or stay locked in a room and never be able to even go outside. So, she chose to be his wife and be in his bed rather than be kept in miserable conditions like a dungeon.
