To mark the 100th anniversary of White Turf St. Moritz, the annual international horse race event, sponsor BMW Sauber's Formula 1 pilot Nick Heidfeld drives the new BMW Sauber F1 racing car across the frozen lake of St. Moritz in Switzerland. The icy conditions present a new challenge for the F1 car, which means that in addition to having to warm the engine every half hour and fit the car with special radiator covers, it is also outfitted with special spiked tires to help with its traction.
2010, Red Bull is doing the same in Montréal

I wonder if unlimited could drive a f1 car round say in three times the time an f1 driver could even after extensive training?

Eeeshh, listen to the TC control constantly interfering with the engine. It sounds more like a helicopter. Still nice to see though.

Schumi beat Loeb in the Race of Champions in 2004, i think F1 drivers can be good in WRC and vice-versa, infact there are many cases of drivers who competed in much different categories of auto/motorcycle racing
