This newly released video shows the People Project Protest, a homeless rights movement that took place in Arcata CA, in April 2007. This clip shows the protest before the mass arrest of the group took place, only the first arrest is shown. Despite its liberal reputation, Arcata pioneered anti-homeless laws that were eventually adopted by San Francisco and other large cities. This year, 2009, the city council has forced the homeless services center to stop serving lunches, instead using the space for "Homeless Court", a new legal process for all the homeless constantly targeted by the police.
This-is-what-a-democracy-looks-like! Isn't that what all those fleabagger faggots always chant?
Well guess what? I'll bet any money that the tax paying, wage earning residents of Arcata were sick to death of having to deal with these cunts on a daily basis.
THIS is democracy in action.

Yet another fine example of cops doing their jobs. Good job cops. Thanks for peacefully giving the people a chance to depart in peace before legitimately arresting them .

if i were the cops, i would go to the local bar where working class people gather after a day of hard work and tell them that i would turn a blind eye to whatever happens in this neighborhood, if you catch my drift. i guarantee they would get rid of this in their neighborhood

"Let her go, let her go." I didn't hear anyone saying, "I'll be responsible for her. She can come home and live with me."
