Hailing from Galway, Ireland.
Drawing influences from Garage Rock Bands of new and old, Fires of Babylon are looking to bring the raw, stripped-back approach to the music scene in Ireland. After being in cover bands for over 5 years, Darragh Canning(Guitars/Vocals) and Eoin Joyce(Drums/Vocals) expressed their need to create original music based around the 2-man format. With fuzzed out guitars and crashing drums, the 'Ruins' EP is an example of their work over the summer of 2011.
Fires of Babylon look to bring their music to as many people as possible through gigs, CDs and radio. Keep your eyes and ears open for news of what's to come.
