I'd add: "Mexican Americans are called 'pochos', they speak 'Spanglish' and have an accent in English,,,, Mexican Americans love rock en espanol but learn nothing from the lyrics. They translate every name in English except "tio" and "tia"...."

Nino/Nina is short for "madrina" and "Padrino" which means "Godmogther" or "godfather:.. Uncle and aunt is "tio" and "tia" respectively.
