  • Mr. Toranomaki commented that he is 65 years old and started doing the Martial Arts (Karate) back in 1972, but on his Youtube channel it states that he is 21 years old??? So if he was born in 1991 how could he have started Karate in 1972? And how could he have bought his first Sai in the 1980's? I do not mind constructive criticism but if it starts off with a lie then the message is lost within that lie.

  • @T0RAN0MAKI Sir

Thank you for your comments. Osu

  • Dear Sir, I regret having annoyed to you. You should interpret my remarks as advice. But I do not regard myself as an expert. I’m a little bit older than you (65 y.o.) … and I started karate in 1972 and I bought my first saïs in 1980’s. I practice still a little and only for myself in spite of my health problems. I will not make another answer.

Sorry for my approximate English. Regards.

  • @T0RAN0MAKI Sir

Thank you for your comment. We look forward to you posting your demonstration on the sai (or any other Kobudo weapon) and please feel free to send it here as a video respond, we will post it as soon as we get it. Thank you for your time. Osu

  • I think it’s rather an artistic performance than a demonstration of kobudo.

There is no KIME in his movements. That man only focuses on the speed of the sai movements. He starts most of his next movements too early. Furthermore he is not aware of the reaction of the saï when it strikes bones, a stick (bô) or soft-tissue.

Neither determination nor ZANSHIN. He doesn’t seem to struggle against aggressive attackers. He doesn’t really look around for his opponents.

(however, don't give up guy !)

  • @hotpopcorncake Sir

Weapon techniques are great but the empty hand techniques should be the 1st step, so I think. Thanks for the comment. Osu

  • Cool Ous! i don't know any weapons just hand to hand stuff..
