No Ace, and Vinnie was pretty damn good too, but Mark was good technical guitarist. But yeah it's a shame he didn't last longer and what happened to him. RIP
Think he just telling it like it was. Funny how everyone including Ace and Peter say the same thing. Everyone after them seemed frustrated because Gene and Paul not easy to get along with, especially Gene. I love KISS, but doubt it was easy to get along with them.
He was a great teacher and a cool guy and the best TECHNICAL guitarist KISS had he or Bruce. Hey im a HUGE ACE fan but he was a groove guy and that is not better or worse its just there is Vai and Clapton both great but different...I have most of all my lessons w him on tape...cool guy
he actually was just another guitarist for KISS but what's with him trashing KISS? The guy never said anything hardly. He was absolutely no Ace nor Vinnie for that matter. They both were bad ass guitarists.
@mooch514 He did do stuff after Kiss it's just that nobody knows about it. His "Magic Bullet Theory" album is fantastic but most people are unaware of it. And I have no idea what you mean by "he would thrash kiss later".
mark st john was just another guitarist...came and went...after ace and peter and vinnie all causing drama ,,,kiss just wanted a good guitar player with no drama and attitude,,while mark was happy to be in kiss...he would thrash kiss later...no class!!
he had the opportunity of a lifetime...he did nothing after kiss ...kiss is still here,

Surely that distinction MUST go to Vinnie Vincent...
