Tribute To Shaniya Nicole Davis, R.I.P. In The Arms Of The Angels.

Searchers found the body of 5-year-old Shaniya Davis off a road on Nov. 16, 2009, ending a week long search for the missing girl, whose mother was accused of offering her for sex, police said. Fayetteville Police spokeswoman Theresa Chance told The Associated Press that searchers found Davis' body southeast of Sanford in central North Carolina. She had been missing since Nov. 10, 2009.

I didn't know this child, but I have cried for a week over her. My daughter saw the story that I had printed out laying on my dining room table with Shaniyas picture showing and she said "mommy, that looks like me." The whole story makes me physically ill. I just can't stop thinking about it. There will never be justice for Shaniya, because unless the two people responsible for her death could actually ever feel what she felt, they won't suffer enough.

she puts me in the mind of my godchild and i just bursted out in tears its so hard cause i have 2 boys ages 4,13 they r my life....but i went to the service they had for her and it was sad...i still send out my prayers after all this time her life was cut short......i hope yur restin in peace lil angel......yu will never be forgotten.....
