i wish mom did that to me when i was little ..... i had to grow up and learn how to swim by myself.....im 18 now and i'm not that great of a swimmer xP

@chuckt453 my baby turned three months on the 8th. How would I go about teaching him how to swim. I started gettinghim familiar with water by putting him in the bath tub with me. We had our first trip to the pool today and I was trying to get him to float. but he cried when his head went under the water. So I want to know how to begain teaching him to swim.

Not at all. He goes under the water and comes up to breathe. he is a year older now and is swimming on his own. He jumps into a pool and swims to the side putting his face in and out and by this time next year he will be racing on a team. What is so great is that his little brother is doing the same thing he did a year ago. They are not alone there are many babies doing the same thing.Ihave been teaching infants for over 30 years. It is so rewarding I hope I can do it 30 more
