Tribute to another one of my favorite movies, THE HIT (1984), directed by Stephen Frears, starring John Hurt, Terence Stamp, Tim Roth, and Laura del Sol. The music used is the main title theme by Eric Clapton, and the pieces "To Madrid" and "Windmills" from the soundtrack by Paco de Lucia.

No copyright abuse intended, but if the owners mind, the video will be deleted, of course.

    Hello!

I'm Hungarian. Sorry, if I don't write well, this music reminds me of Miami Vice. So I agree with you.

  • @8lifeisamovie8 Unfortunately, I don't speak your language, but if you meant that this is reminiscent of MIAMI VICE, I always thought so too. The series started the same year. So I don't know which influenced which, or whether it was just a coincidence, the style of era.

  • 0:00-1:28 tisztára mint a Miami Vice....király.

  • Great work, nicely put together! I haven't seen this film but I want to now :-)

  • @tigretony9 Thanks. Glad you found what you wanted.

  • Aplantage3 SteveTheMovieGuy1 had it. Thank you anyway. I still feel you did a great image editing! Best J

  • Aplantage3 Very nice editing.

I bought the original mint condition movie LP album from a German collector in Hamburg. Also bought the digital software/hardware with the idea to get the closing titles in MP3. However 3 years have gone by and still yet don't have time to do it. Would you consider agreeing to upload the closing titles? Or maybe arrange something between us for you to do it? It would be something I'd truly appreciate. Thanks J

  • @zerokomma Thanks. Yes, isn't it amazing? If there is such a thing as a beautiful, poetic gangster film, this is it.

  • Lovely lovely edit.....nice how it plays out though silences and glances and looks....great film and superb score.

  • @MultiCathyU I don't know if you would find the film interesting (I even doubt that you might), but the music is great, and I used it very much like it is used in the film.
