The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band is the Rev on guitar, his wife Breezy on washboard and his brother Jayme on drums and bucket. They are currently on tour opening for Flogging Molly. This is from Kansas City's Beaumont Club, Feb 2nd, 2008. "The DTs or the Devil?" is not yet on any CD. It takes a bit to get going as the Rev sets up the song for a sing-along...skip ahead to 51 seconds to get to the start of the song.

Edit: I got the name transposed.

  • im totally in that crowd somewhere lol. they f"ing rocked that place

  • @jenxkx9 You're going to be at the show at Knuckleheads tomorrow?

  • I'm about to have some DT's from these two bottles of wine

  • The funny part is that I've never seen Rev, Breezy, Jayme or new drummer Aaron drink! They are consummate professionals about the show they put on. Dunno if they like a bottle of beer or glass of wine when not working, but they work constantly.

  • everytime i've seen these guys the crowd goes nuts. I guess Oregon folk just get a little crazier than Kansas City folk.

  • Check my video list for the version of "That Train Song" at Knucklehead's Saloon in KC to see some crazy people, and the best guest solo ever.

  • The Rev and Breezy are friends of mine. I remember when they quit their day jobs to tour and play music full-time. It was so exciting, and it's been a thrill to watch them have such amazing success. It couldn't have happened to cooler people.

  • Most amazing guitarist EVER. I don't care what you say. "They ask me why we don't have a bass player... I'm playing bass with my thumbs!"

  • probably their best song

  • if you like these guys, you have to check out sassparilla jug band. they're out of portland i think

  • HELL YEAH - these guys are awesome, we will be booking them for a motorcycle event here in Buffalo, NY
