this is not the book...i have it right next to me and there is nothing in this audio that even comes close...i know you said chapter 1 starts at 8:30 but it dosent...this is nothing like the book

One, in the description, the authors name is spelled Mary Shelley. Two, to who ever commented, there is actually 4 letters in the beginning. Just saying.

This recording could be one of two Frankenstein's. There is the original that was published in 1818 and the revised version that Mary Shelley did in 1831. Im guessing that its the original cause i have the revised edition and there are a lot of differences. Or this could be a recording where the content has been edited for time or something like that.

in the beginning, the reader is starting off from the letters this guy sends to his sister aboard his voyage to the north pole...or something. there are 3 letters in total.
