Well, when the kids are grown and out of the house, who ELSE is gonna do them. But then again, the kids never had so much fun doing them either and teaching them to kids was ... well ... sometimes a chore.
All training done with Clicker Training techniques (with and/or without clicker) -
1) using positive reinforcement,
2) no punishments entailing physical or psychological intimidation , fear or pain,
3) no traditional corrections
I do NOT show how all these commands were taught. But I can show you this. I DID however show, that once learned individually, thus making boring old training sessions exciting for both dog and human partner.

@billyboy638 - thanks very much! we had fun learning these trick and of course performing them. One of the advantages of having a Retriever.

Leonard, that's awesome! Really great job training all those tricks!

@kyrasundance - hmm, guess I'll have to look again at those certificates you offer. Do such films count instead of personal witnesses as proof of having taught them? Anyway, thanks for the roses. In our next Choreo, besides bringing me stuff, Vela rings a fire bell, plays the shell game and performs CPR on an unconscious stuff dog while I perform mouth-to-mouth. ;-) I don't remember seeing those as counting for the certificate. :-)
