@cameraguy38 yes science is based on observation, and what you conclude from said observation is based on the paradigm through which you practice science. For christians, science is interpreted from a creationary perspective; for atheists, an evolutionary perspective. You cannot treat an atheistic cosmology as fact, just as you cannot treat a creationary cosmology as fact. This is because science is based on observation. No one has witnessed the creation of the universe.

You see? Why do you not take the Bible literally. First He separated light from darkness and call it day and night and that was the first earthly day in time. I guess if science told you they find 4.5 billion years rock you'll still take it literally. I'm sorry women but science is not that. Science is just study. You wouldn't study if you know already. Science values theories more than facts. Fact is worthless in it.

Awesome, just awesome that man could achieve this - the first men to leave the gravitational pull of the Earth and orbit another celestial body. Truly astounding! You those pictures of the Earth rising from the Moon and you realize just how small the Earth is compared to the whole universe. I would trade anything to be Lovell, Borman, or Anders, even with the space sickness!
