Todd Holland (Director Twin Peaks & Larry Sanders Show) and handsome actor - Luke Edwards - rustled up a packed house of enthusiastic fans who turned out to catch their video game-related film - The Wizard - on the week-end at the New Beverly Cinema. The upbeat, vastly entertaining feature film from Universal, also starred Fred Savage (Wonder Years) who was unable to appear due to prior out-of-town commitments. The twenty-something to forty-ish filmgoers more often-than-not broke into gales of laughter, uproarous applause, and song (Send me an Angel) throughout. In fact, the night was an outrageous hilarious hoot! Appearances by Luke Edwards & Todd Holland were captured on HD Video by Julian Ayrs @ the Tattler. Please note that due to the impromptu nature of the Q & A, there was no pre-set lighting. So, the videographer apologizes for the dark nature of the images. *A post on the evening's highlights will appear on The Tattler (www.ijulian.blogspot.com) in a day or two.
Now if they only had let Luke Edwards debut Super Mario 3D Land on the 3DS.
