Good Video Thanks! Carter Beuford (Dave Mathews Band) has a great instructional dvd out, where he is a huge proponent of 'left hand lead/right hand snare' playing. I haven't gotten to the point of picking it up well enough, but that might be something you try. Rather than playing 'left' he has his kit set up standard, but plays his hi-hat with the left and and snare on the right and starts his single stroke rolls with his left hand.

Hi hats are Zildjian New Beat 14", Ride is Zildjian Avedis PING Ride 20", LH Crash is Paiste Sound formula Thin Crash 16", RH Crash is Paiste 2002 Thin 18", Splash is Paiste Sound Formula 10" and China is Paiste Dimensions Thin 16". So a bit of a mixture. I have since acquired the Paiste Sound Formula Hi-hats and Ride. Cheers.
