@jiv94 they are capacitors. they are suppose to help controll the sudden drain on the car's battery and electrical system depending how many watts you are pushing. capacitors almost have the same function as a battery except they dont hold a charge very long.

@323Tommi Are the GTO louder than this ?? I mean..I have 1 12" gto..in a BP box, once I mounted it in my cousin car and the roof and doors where flexing like paper..if those GT5 are loud as that..your car should reach some high spl levels :D

It sure plays well, but it kind of looks cheap.. All this plastic and that red light .
Oh and my friend bought single 12" Jbl woofer with an amp as a set. LOL the amp is WAY too weak for the sub. I dont know the exact watts of those items but it seems to me that the amp pushes out like 100w rms and sub needs like 400 :D

i've an amplifier 2x200w rms 4Ω; 2x360w rms 2Ω; 1x690w rms 4Ω dragster 2340.
can i use the subwoofer individually, with 2 channel. One each, using the subwoofer in 4Ω.
you know the model of the sub in the kit?

The Box has 2Ω. Each woofer has 4Ω(connected parallel)
At first i was also using another amp. So I took the woofers out of the box and made 2 more connection points into the terminal. So I could connect each of the woofers individual.
You just need a screwdriver, 2 connection points and a small twist drill. I also connected the woofers with 4mm² cable. (the first one was quite thin)
Those are the GT5-12's.

No. I mean the GT-5 woofers are quite cheap and work very well.
But they are shurely not better than the pb1220!
The pb1220 was cured as the best and loudest woofer with serial made enclosure. The slipstream technology is very important for the pb1220 and this GT-5 woofers are shurely also happy about it ;)
