DIY- BMW e46 key fob battery remove/replace

This is how I fixed my key after it wasnt working well lately, it would work only few times and after i went to the dealer they told me I had to buy a new key for 230$...i said...HELL NO! so i found my way around and hopefully i can help you guys save some money too. good luck, be smart, be safe and... You forgot to state ...order a PANASONIC V2020 rechargeable battery. Also, usually it doesn't work until you re-program the key...see BMW sites for that. Also, it is more difficult to reproram TWO keys....so they are synched as well.

@bmw4ever55 Hey thanks 4 the comment, about the battery i say it at: 1:05 and about reprogramming it, i have heard many pp saying you have to reprogram but also read around many pp who didn't have to do so, personally i didnt have to reprogram mine. I really dont know what makes some pp`s key work right away and others dont. :/

The reason I stated every little detail is bc there is many pp who dont have that much "skills" or are not really a DIY person so i was trying to be very clear to anyone watching. Nice videos a cheap tripod might help and a better quality video camera possibly HD would make them even better.I have how to change a battery in a Ford Focus key fob on my channel.Just subscribed to your channel despite the above comments.Keep up the good work.
