Clement Cheng, regista prodigio del cinema di Hong Kong di oggi, è il regista del nuovo Far East Film Festival trailer dove tra i grattacieli di una metropoli uno zombie volante e un prete taoista esorcizzano il numero "13" di questa tredicesima edizione del Festival di Udine con il simbolo delle corna!! Secondo le credenze popolari, infatti, con il dito indice e mignolo posizionati all'ingiù si allontanano il malocchio e la cattiva sorte! Guest star: niente meno che l'indimenticabile attore, musicista e regista hongkonghese Teddy Robin, straordinaria icona pop anni Sessanta

L'edizione 2011 del Far East Film, curata come di consueto dal Centro Espressioni Cinematografiche, si aprirà venerdì 29 aprile con una sessantina di pellicole da Cina, Hong Kong, Corea del Sud, Giappone, Thailandia, Indonesia, Malesia, Filippine, Singapore, Vietnam, Taiwan e, new entry, Mongolia, e due sezioni speciali: L'ASIA RIDE! (Asia Laughs!), una pioneristica retrospettiva sulla commedia pan-asiatica, e un piccante excursus nella storia del PINK EIGA dagli anni Sessanta ai giorni nostri.

Clement Cheng, prodigious director of the Hong Kong cinema of today, is the director of the new Far East Film Festival trailer, where, surrounded by the city's skyscrapers, a flying zombie and a Taoist priest, exorcise the number "13" from the thirteenth edition of the Udine Festival, using the Italian hand gesture for horns!! In fact, according to popular belief, holding the index finger and the little finger in a horn-like position, pointing downwards, can ward off curses, bad luck and evil beings! Guest starring none other than the unforgettable actor, musician and director from Hong Kong, Teddy Robin, extraordinary pop icon of the Sixties.

The 2011 edition, curated as always by the Centro Espressioni Cinematografiche, will be inaugurated on Friday 29th April, with a presentation of over sixty of the latest titles from China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Taiwan and new entry this year... Mongolia!
There will also be two special sections: ASIA LAUGHS! (L'Asia Ride!), a pioneering retrospective about pan-Asian comedies, plus a spicy excursion into the history of PINK EIGA, from the Seventies up to today.
