you're both right. it was his charitable activity and oversized entourage all on the payroll, and it was the solid gold toilets and 20 rolls royces and the rest. and don't you think the entourage was partly charity, partly ego? seems SOME people like to have a whole clan of people moving around with them to stroke their ego and feel treated like a sultan or medieval king.

You are incorrect. Hammer tried to save a lot of people from his Oakland neighborhood, to keep them off the streets and stop them from doing illegal activity, he would put them on his payroll. All his money did not go to just "bling". His payroll monthly to keep those young people off the streets what thousands of dollars. At least he tried to help his old community. Most celebrities take their wealth and spend it on themselves only.
