Seeing clips from the older seasons made me realize how more realistic Roseanne was in the beginning. She was funny and smart. And she had a good relationship with Dan. In these later seasons they're fairly separate characters and all Roseanne does is manipulate everyone.
I still love the show. But the first 4 or 5 seasons were awesome. The rest were good, and still funny but not as good.
