Well, there was one note at 5:08 but no big deal. This is definately one of my favorite performances of this song.

I LOVE the creepy kind of Asylum setting and the slowed down tempo...and of course that stunning high note on the end...Natalie is sublime :)

How rarely do sopranos do the High Aflat like Dessay does here? (If it isn't Aflat, correct me please!) I persoanlly liek it better. What is written in the score and what is the cadenza? Usually it's just to the E, right? Why did she do the High A this time and not other times, i wonder?

It's pretty rare, most lyric coloraturas don't have that kind of range. Natalie is a sfogato-Aflats for them are like Fs for the rest of us ;) Eflats are in the score and cadenza.
