The original Andy Gross former top touring pro racquetball player serves up a 169 mph bullet to ace former number 1 player Brett Harnet to win the match.... They were two of the original hardest hitting players ever and both lefties... great to watch them play

  • If you stop it at the right time you can see the crazy ass bent elbow position right before he blasts it. Around 0:03.

  • judging by the shoes i would say about 1988

  • @swimtime4me Yes him & Dave won many matches & tournaments, just not on the pro tour. The Andy Gross in that US Open Pro Division is some kid in '07, not the Andy Gross I am talking about (who would be pushing 50 in '07). I'm not sure what you are trying to prove. I'm sure they won many amatuer events, but they didn't win any officially sanctioned tour events in the 80s. They were all won by Hogan, Yellen, Gonz, the Pecks, & Swain. Do a G00gle search on irt boss consulting and see for yourself.

  • @swimtime4me I did my research. The IRT database on the Web lists the results of every sanctioned pro event and #1 player back to ‘73. There is only one Andy Gross. He has a brother David (39 winning %). Andy was a teen in 1984, started playing tour stops by 15. Nobody named Gross ever won a sanctioned pro stop or was #1. Here are the #1 pro players during that timeframe: ’89 Hogan; ’88 Ruben Gonzalez; ’83 to ’87 Mike Yellen. The Gross’ were great but never had a big impact on tour. Cheers!

  • @swimtime4me He hit the ball hard and had a tough serve, but not much else. His pro winning percentage was only 41% (31-44). His best season was 9-10 in '84-'85. But he did crank the ball for his time...put every ounce of his lanky frame into his shots.

    Cheers.

  • @EtherealPancake it is when your a pro, watch Kane play, dead serious.

  • @skylarlaham lol, it's racquetball... it's not that serious :)

  • lol most likely 1984

  • Wow I did not know Andy Gross was a pro athlete before comedy? I just saw him perform at our local comedy club, he is now a very funny comedian magician and ventriloquist. Very talented!

  • 1948
