I'm a big fan of John Scofield and Larry Carlton and tried to mix the two players together in a bit of a tribute to both of them.

  • Is this the pure amp-sound of the express 5:25?

    Awesome

  • @eneXeon I was using a Fender Deluxe Reverb re-issue at the time with THD Yellowjacket tube adapters running EL-84s - supposedly biased to Class A operation. Also, I had a Weber Mini-mass attenuator taking the volume down by 6 db. The Express 5:25 sounds very similar, especially when it's running single ended at 5 watts.
