Thank you for posting the video. My DC25 would not work because the first hose below the canister was not attached correctly- and this is a little tricky to do because of a locater pin and two side pins. I removed the torx screw that holds the clear plastic disc behind the canister and this enabled the hose to seat correctly. Not too difficult but it can been seen through an opening where the extension handle has it's sealing device.

Help, I have done all of the above, there is a powerful suction at the top, but not at the cleaner head. There are no clogs/blocks!
