There can't be enough Metallica! :) Okay, there can. But anyway. Machinax and I are at it again, this time on this none-so-guitar-heavy number. But a great song!

EDIT
I gotta hand it to Machinax. He goes through the whole piece note by note changing the dynamics of the notes making it sound as lively as it does. He also created that fill right before the second verse started. That fucked quintuplet or sextuplet... whatever it is, it gives this thing some LARS! :) And isn't that good when we talk about a Metallica cover.

  • what exactly is it your meant to do at that bit just before the first solo at 5:06

do you just play around with the volume while pressing on the strings or what?

  • @dragonmasterlance123 If you watch The Outlaw Torn on "S&M" you'll see what James does. And it is exactly how you describe it. Fret the string with a little force, then swell up the volume on the volume pot. Of course if you have a volume pedal, you can use that.

  • where you get the drum track from for this?

  • @eveguitars I was JUST checking this video out myself.

Well... I created the drum track myself... however, my buddy Machinax (Archangel3583 on 'Tube) tuned it to meet his stylistical ideas, in this particular case. :) Now, go give Machinax a YO!

  • Tykkäsin tosta kohdasta 5:02 etiäpäin :P Hitto tää biisi on pitkä... Mutta good work, taas!

  • @mpalin11 Onhan tää pitkä - mutta siitä huolimatta aika ymmärrettävä.

  • It's been quite a while since I've visited this subscription again, and you finally did The Outlaw Torn. You sir are a metal god, one definitely worthy of being in a professional band. Keep up the highly talented and flawless work; it's good to see such musical talent in a talentless musical generation of this day and age. I have yet to scroll down the rest of the page, but if you also covered Fixxxer, I will succomb to shitting myself, but it'll be with honor. Keep on rockin' good sir.
