"Rock of Ages" is a single and track from the 1983 album, "Pyromania", by Def Leppard. The album was originally released on Vertigo Records (UMG) and was produced by Robert John "Mutt" Lange. The album was a huge hit in both the U.S. and Canada, with 10x and 7x platinum certifications and also did well in the UK, with a silver certification. The album peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200 and #18 on the UK Albums Chart.
"Rock of Ages" was written by Joe Elliot, Steve Clark, Pete Willis and Robert John "Mutt" Lange. The single was released on Mercury Records. The single peaked at #16 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #41 on the UK Singles Chart.
The music video was directed by David Mallet.
