REST IN PEACE PETER YATES - He was one of the first directors who gave me a job after college scouting locations for "For Pete's Sake" the Barbra Streisand Movie in 1972. It was also the first TV show I directed in the new B&W studio at New York Institute of Technology in Long Island.

I really would like be as him, not only for knowing Steve McQueen, but for make such good movies.

It's unbelieveable that he never won an Oscar.
