His flinching is not from the double action pull, its from mere inexperience with firearms....keep shooting friend, and you'll soon not be afraid of the sound and kick of any pistols. No fear, pull the trigger, let the sound set you free.

Nice flinching and falling backwards from a .38 round. Buy a .22 and learn to shoot it before you mess with larger calibers. :(

I want one of those Ruger Gp100's

@irashidi308 GP100 is very heavy. Recoil is significantly lower in this than most .357 revolvers. If you shot .357 out of the SP101, that's something you could see on video, but with the GP 100 those could very well be .357 magnums

i just shot my ruger today andd ihave to use left eye instead just a habit
-
He's using his left eye. Why? Does it bother you when right handed shooters are left eye dominant? Do you even know what that means? Using words like "dude" and aliases like TVNews14 makes us all beleive that you don't know much of anything.

A shorter barrel will have less weight and allow the gun to recoil more.
With that being said I shot a 4" 357 that had quite a bit less recoil than a 6" 44 that I shot. If that helps lol.
I don't think there is a huge difference a 6" and 4" barrel with the same model gun but the 4" is more concealable and handles better. Basically if you keep your shots within 50yds the shorter barrel is more convenient and past that the longer barrel might be the better choice for accuracy.

Dude...which eye are you looking down the sights with?

I like out door Shooting ranges.

it looked like his ams were a little bent, maybe not. Either way, that's a big gun, I've seen people that make him look like an expert marksman.

I notice almost everyone here is shooting a six incher...any one have experience with the 4 inch?
I think he was shooting .38 ammo in this video. The noise, muzzle flash etc. looks much too mild to be .357 magnum rounds. Alot of people use .38 Ammo for target practice in their 357's because it's much cheaper. 357 Mag and 38 Spl are the same bullet (35 Caliber). The 357 round's case is simply lengthened so that more powder can be packed in making it much more powerful. You can fire 38s through a 357 gun but not vice/versa. 357 ammo is too long for a 38 pistol and the pressures are too high.

smart comment, i think so too i was using .38 special ammo for this revolver. but the funny thing is that when i purchased the ammo the guy took it out a drawer labeled ".357 magnum". theyre fooling the public i guess.

Nice, looks like not much kickback and hardily any flash but thats probably because its so bright. You should let us have a look at the target after the rounds are fired.

lol, i didnt even pull the hammer back for lighter trigger. This was a prety acurate revolver but i wasnt very good with it. You can lay some good fire with this.
