@stoffmeister garage music started in gay clubs in chicago, it wasnt even called garage untill it reached these shores untill a producer played around with speed of the beats n kicks , which was an extension of house music and whats an extension of a house.a garage, therefore garage music was born, german/ italian house probly did have some sort of influence though as so did english house and the old 90's rave/jungle scene, not hating just passing over some knowledge, respect.
