unlinking Google and Youtube accounts needs to be made much easier

I was helping a friend of mine creating his own youtube account on his computer. It didnt work. I logged into my own acc on youtube. And for some reason it linked to my friends google account. Now I can only log in with his password. Does anyone have a solution to this?

ya and this videos been up since November now and i've complained - i finally just deleted the other Google account all together ... we shouldn't have to do that, but if they're not gonna help ...

What even worse is i can't sign in into my youtube account! it says reset your password via your google account I DID and it say it's not CORRECT

Can YouTube ever do anything right these days? Since about a year ago, all of there new updates have been 100% crap! YouTube is a nightmare site these days!

yes, this is bullshit. and what's worse, there's no way to contact google/youtube.. and they seem like they don't care about this glitch.

I found that if you were signed into gmail and sign up for youtube, while still signed into gmail, your accounts are "permanently" linked. there's no way of unlinking them.

I hope the guy at Google who thought of this was fired...from a cannon. It has made my use of youtube much more difficult as I now have to sign out of Google before signing in to youtube or it will say that my account is permanently disabled. (I deleted the old account that was linked to my google account thinking it would free it up to be linked with my current youtube account)

i followed that tutorial and discovered the missing link also. what the fuck is wrong with google. this is a pain!

i was looking all over the place to unlink it and then i started looking at some vids but i couldn't find the button. after i like signed on and off for the tenth time, for some odd reason, the unlink thing popped up under manage account.

i dont have it either!!!

Since September you has been saying I had to link them I took until a few seconds ago to fix I was afraid I would lose it in 2010 they say's it linked I'm not 100% sue but I would not have been able to make it if it wasn't for your video thanks!
