My Dan Shauger Pivot

No its not a joke. This is only an exaggerated illustration of Dan's swing. When you read his book its very hard to understand and imagine the swing. So this is ONLY for people who has read his book and is trying to figure out his swing. When using thins swing it looks like any other golf swing and all the movements cannot be caught by the naked eye as everything happens too fast. Just youtube and watch Jacob bowden and Dan swinging. Its looks normal. I repeat. THIS IS EXAGGERATED.

Yes, the swing is really good and it works well if you can execute it right.

At 1:49 you can see that the shaft, hands a arms all the way to shoulder is 1 straight line. I prefer it like that as you don't have any unnecessary angles at setup as at impact it will be all in a line anyway. Some people prefer to have a break in their wrist at setup. Not wrong, but I just prefer it like that and that is what Mike Dunaway does as well. Let the weight of the club set the angle of your wrists. That is how the wrists will be at impact.

A friend tought me the swing who is a 1 of Dan's Class A instructor. The swing is same a 21st century gold swing. How to kill the ball should be the same swing but I havn't read that book. Agree 21st century does not have alot of set up info. I use Mike dunaway's setup procedure. Yes it looks that I stand too far away but that is what feels comfortable to me to give me space to move my body on down swing.
