Shellie was sleeping on the floor and then she wanted to come up. Poor Shellie is scared of heights and does not know how to jump on or off the couch. So, she scratches until someone picks her up...

  • I have a couple questions. Since they are part poodle does that mean shellie doesn't shed? And the other question I have is how big does she get? I'm looking at getting one and from what I've heard they are great dogs, I'm just looking for a small one that could be good for an apartment.

  • @InuHinata Maltipoos are a cross between a Maltese and Poodle. So they both have hair and not fur so, they do not shed as much as a dog with fur. Shellie is a great gentle dog. Maltipoos are great and very smart. Just note that does not mean you do not have to train them. As for Shellie, she is a lazy pup who loves to snuggle and keep you company. Good luck on your search.

  • So cute! Does Shellie have any problems w/ ear infections? Just wondering b/c we're looking for a new dog.

  • @juicyXD Have had 1 issue with an ear infection, but that was due to a bath which we let water fill up her ear and did not know it. Otherwise, Shellie is a great dog! I would say a Maltipoo would be a great pet, but make sure you look into temper from the start. Most likely, how the puppy is when you first meet them is how they will be for awhile.

  • aww she's gorgeous! how old is sheee?

i'm thinking of getting a maltipoo when i move out and have a job, etc. how easy was she to train?

  • @achocolaterainbowful Shellie is part poodle and part maltese. Both are very smart dogs, so she was very easy to train.

Hi. I also have a maltipoo. Ya they don't shed, but you have to brush their hair or it gets tangled. Mine is small and she's easy to take care of and train. They're very easy to handle and they love to play. It depends if the parents are big or small. mine was the runt of the family and is size medium acourding to the clothes I get her. you should really get one, and trust me. You'll never regret it. My maltipoo is literally like my best friend and I never regret having her.

  • Como JuanSimon, la incognita es que raza es?

  • @InuHinata yes they dont shed at all..and they can be anywhere from 5 to 30 pounds they're great dogs

  • @InuHinata my maltipoo does not shed. but some maltipoos look more like poodles and some more like malteses. the ones that resemble malteses seem to love socks for some reason. but he does not shed at all. they are so fast also. ours can beat our lab to a tennis ball and will stand his ground before anything!
