@marula10 a 2.0 is heavier so more costs more tax (at least in holland). Furthermore a 320 is more expensive in ensurance ;)

@Matas439 1.6 need 8-11 l/100 km.. so its not economic.. its wery slow.. 2.0 need 9-14 so its better choise.

@CrAzYGuyKS Not everyone buys BMW to race other drivers. For me personally BMW are the best looking cars out there. So the first car I'm going to drive is definitely going to be a BMW, no matter it's 1,6l engine or 3,0l. 1,6l engines are much more economic. For a teenager thats the first point to look at.

the BMW 4cylinder engines with were made to move retired persons (especially the stingy ones) and women who don't need to be the fastest on street. If you want performance, use a 328 which has nearly twice of the 316's power. Driving a 316 is not so exciting cause most of the other cars - including family vans and some smaller trucks - are faster. So I advise you to buy another bimmer with a REAL engine (which deserves to be called BMW).
