@nicholi2789 - For sure, I'm definately not an arborist but climbing up another bit and cutting those limbs off would have definately been the way to go! Now he's gotta waste the time he thought he was saving changing his underwear! HAHA!

Some times...shit happens. I have been a arborist for a while and if there is one thing you learn its that everything does not always go the way it should or the way it did last time. That is why we wear so much safty gear. Don't make fun of the man, liek others have said it's the ground guys fault for the lowering line getting stuck, always keep the line clear !

I've been an arborist for a long time and i know that he was taking a shortcut. If he was smarter he would have climbed higher and took more weight off of it before topping it. Then he wouldnt have had such a hard shock load on the line, causing him to slingshot like that. Like i said, a shortcut. Doing things like that will get you killed real quick.

I can't believe that everyone calls him a dumb ass, without a clue as to what he is doing. The lowering line was supposed to run out, but it didn't run, so the tree went BOING! This guy is a pro, believe it or not. Does he look like a pro being jacked around? No, but it's a dangerous business, and sometimes things go wrong. You are all a bunch of Ciscal and Eberts. They can't make movies, so they are critics.
