@RandallParr Actually he was mentally frustrated because he couldn't find a wife. An *unwritten* rule is the US military: prior to becoming a field grade or senior officer you must have a spouse. It completes a professional image and influences the military family lifestyle. With a higher rank/authority he would've possibly had more control over his deployments. He was looking for a wife, so really a way of getting a promotion.
Same motive as every other Islamic terrorist, of course. Get over it, get over the PC crap and tell it like it is. Admitting the first post-9/11 terrorist act in America happened on Obama's watch isn't going to stop his plummeting popularity, so just stop trying to mislead a public who already knows.
