PT's hearing, there's a movie on it, called "Pete Tong it's all gone." him a brilliant DJ who lost his hearing to his own popularity, playing too much, etc. still brilliant though, and there's an upside too, but i didn't watch that part.

can't afford it? lol hmm ok. even if i wanted to spend $600 on it i wouldn't there are much better programs to use for production. for DJing, it just kills the entire idea of DJing.. he's standing there PRETENDING to DJ and occasionally goes on the FX mixer and throws in some bullshit highpass/lowpass and whatever else he had on there.

what i was reffering to was the FX mixer, nothing in ableton. he had the entire mix pre-recorded in ableton and just let that play while he fully pretended he was DJing.. if you're not gonna DJ live.. don't pretend you are.. thats pretty unprofessional.
