he was saying that he would not segregate himself into a religious category. He believed in God and that was final. The name of the faith did not matter to him, as long as it was faith.

The significance of the spinning wheel on the Indian Flag: They boycotted buying cloth from Manchester in the country of their oppressors. They made their own cloth. We need to make our own energy to get out from under OUR oppressors, the oil companies. Why do we have money for war but not for Medicare? I can't stress enough to everyone, converting to sustainable energy is the most important thing anyone one can do to promote Democracy, other than taking control of their money supply.

Seriously, I am not trying to start anything but I think Ghandi is a hypocrite. How can he preach "... hatred leads to destruction..." and yet he is a racist to blacks?

@TheMsUganda - I read articles, and it said that he was treated badly first. He was very calm...didn't raise his voice once....when they told him that he wasn't allowed to sit in the first class section of the train. he even bought a first class ticket....and he simply told them that he had a ticket.... and they grabbed him and threw him in one of the cars of a train in the back, when he had a first class ticket....you should do more reading i think

I just watched the movie "Gandhi", and just hope that credit was given to the film makers who created this video you have posted...
