I smell lotsa factory perfect pre-mix !

These guys were my heroes back then especially Broc and Ricky (when he was still riding for Yamaha). I've always been a Yamaha guy and still am. Next to these guys, the riders today seem to lack the drive to win. I don't know why that is.

Fuck the 450 4 strokes! Bring the 250 2 smokers back! The 2 stroke is the real riding experience you have to be in the right gear and ring his neck! I just love them......
2 STROKE 4 FUCKING LIFE NOW AND FOREVER!

Man when I was a kid Broc was my favorite rider. I remember I was so upset that year he lost the supercross title to Jeff Ward after a close battle all season...

Why was Glovers Yamaha white and Johnsons yellow?

The track still exists :D Its called Anneberg in swedish. I dont think it is the same line section as it was in 1982 but its still there.
Here you can see the line section as it is today if you press the button "Klicka för banskiss stora banan" and a picture appears

man känner igen den på vissa parti :P

The track still exists but as u understand it have been changed several times (last time -07)it is called agnebergsbanan ithink. Maybe can get a link but probaly it is swedish. If u want photos that is "bilder" in swedish or movies "filmer#
Yeah, I think it was probably 1985 - the last race was at the Rose Bowl ... and Ward beat out Glover for the title?????

That's a great question! Rick was part of the American team - and Yamaha that year was yellow in the USA. Broc was there for both the Motocross of Nations the weekend before (in Finland) and Trophee des Nations. David Bailey hurt his wrist the week before in Finland, and Broc was the replacement rider for David. He had to get a bike together quickly, and Yamaha Europe helped - their bikes that year were red and white!
