Prof Francis Fukuyama is a former neo-conservative, who pushed for the regime change in Iraq and supported Bush at the start of Iraq war. However, he now supports Senator Barack Obama over Senator John McCain.

  • every question in this interview sounds like an insult

  • Fukuyama is not a former conservative, he still is. I myself am not conservative, but I respect the man. The interviewer is a dick. Fukuyama is what a real conservative actually is.

  • I totally agree, I also read The end of History, and he does not look that Neo-con...People with poor understanding, and little depth into his works wrongly criticize him.

  • Then how does one look like a neo-conservative, peace? hehe, jk.

this was apparently some time ago, at least half a year ago from the time i'm posting this. i wonder what his opinions would be on how the financial crisis will affect everything, including foreign policy i.e. war on iraq and afghanistan, other than the obvious drain in money for the wars and eventual withdrawal of forces.

  • I read his "Last Man", which he wrote in 1992. He didn't look like neo-conservative at all.

  • Smart, thoughtful man. We need someone like him in charge. Thanks for the videos!!
