We were the Fifth, Sixth and Seventh people to shoot the new XDs compact .45 acp from Springfield Armory
These are a five shot (+1) single stack, slim frame .45acp compact pistol
These aren't even on the Springfield Armory Website

@will1174 1) Its a croatian design, SA is just the importer. 2)Corporations are in the business of making money. Why invest money in creating a new factory, buy new machines, hire new employees just to sell something that they can already sell? You would end up with a more expensive gun without any guarantee that it would be better quality that what we can buy now.

This gun will probably sell like hotcakes. Might even replace my pf9 for daily carry if they ever release the darn thing.

I just bought a XD9 SubCompact brand spanking new for 560$ (after tax) but since I live in CA I have to wait 10 days -.-

How comparable is this to a compact 1911? Considering how few rounds they hold, is it worth the loss of one round?

Kahr CW45 functions great, is the same width and overall length, has a .32 in. longer barrel, holds 1 more shell, weighs 10 oz. less, and looks cooler. Why choose the XDS?
