Are there a lot of recipes in this book? Also, are there any pictures of what the dishes should look like? Thanks!

I concur with simp1eone. Ghanaians are indeed the best cooks in West Africa. I have tried to buy several african cook books specifically to learn how to make jollof rice and it's always an epic failure. Does this book use Westernized measurements and items accessible to us? That has to be my favorite dish and I'm tired of wasting money by destroying during the cooking process.

@iroc31407 The cookbook has easy to follow recipes using easily accessibly ingredients ( no matter what continent you live in) and also uses U.S measurements. "Akwaaba: A Taste of Ghana "has gone Nook and can now be purchased and downloaded at Barnes & Noble !
