religion has no clear definition. the idea of religion has been around for ages. in a sense atheism is a religion in that they believe that there is no god. and honestly nobody has yet proven that there is no supernatural being that controls us so saying there is no god has as much credibility as saying there isnt. Agnosticism on the other hand isnt a religion. they dont deny or state anything. they dont have a common belief, just a common acceptance of there lack of knowledge of the universe.
Tbh not trying to use Atheism as a religion as being an attack or anything but Religion is defined as either 1. The belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, esp. a personal God or gods. Or 2. Details of belief as taught or discussed. I guess the belief in a higher power is more of a faith. Also Religion simply means from doing something religiously meaning that its a practice so dont mean to burst your amusing bubble but in the technical accurate term, it is...
The confusion of atheism with religion reminds me of the confusion many people seem to have with the words "socialist" and "communist" which have actual definitions, but which seem in most converstions to merely mean "person I don't agree with". Is this an example of people trying to make words mean what they want them to mean (said the Chesshire cat)?
I'm sorry too for the grouping, what I meant with "you" was the people who commented on my comment, I'm sure the same person wouldn't be repeating the same thing so I'm sorry for being so rude like that :)
@TheGrinningSkull Sorry, I didn't see your retraction I apologize. That being said. Either you think I've attacked this before which I haven't or you are using the "you people" you, which is always dangerous. grouping people together in a you (atheist, christians, black people etc..) ussually comes across as bigotry whether intended or not.
@sideshowchad Again, I'm sure I went through all this with someone (more than 1) and how I took back this comment, but hey, I guess you'll keep attacking a moot point.
ha ha,.Atheism is not a religion. I don't play any sport. That doesn't mean I play something called non-sport.

I saw the title, I paused the video at 0:01 and I commented:
