  • non ho parole.. MERAVIGLIOSA non è abbastanza. comunque se qualcuno si sta scervellando come ho fatto io per capire quale preludio è sappia che si tratta del preludio e fuga n. 15! :P

  • scusate, nonostante siano passati oltre due mesi non mi ero accorto di avere dimenticato di mettere nel titolo di quale preludio si tratta

    this is the best version of this prelude and fugue that i have heard - what are you listening to?

    there are some sound quality issues - re the recording itself. But much more clarity and meaning to this recording than almost every other that one could listen to. Don't listen to this silly review.

  • Sorry no dice on this one. I generally love Vacatello's playing, but this one is WAY off the mark, just as it was in the Cliburn competition. Not one whit of Shostakovich's humor in the Prelude and absolutely no clarity of the voices in the Fugue. What is the point? Unmusical loud banging? She could do much better, but she has absolutely no concept of this piece. And it's so surprising because her Beethoven 4th was such a dream.

  • i didnt know Shostakovich wrote acceleration throughout the whole fugue! everyday learning something new! :)
