I really like this album alot!!!! It is soo different than Elton's previous work which was all master pieces of course but I like the soulful and dance style he used on this project!!

@WonderWomanFan4life - Thom Bell was the arranger and producer of many of the the Philly Soul greats, like the Stylistics, Delfonics, and the Spinners. He and Gamble & Huff created the blueprint for disco and the 70's soul sound. Check him on Wikipedia. You'll understand why Elton wanted Thom to produce him

who was Thom Bell? did they make record players/ i once had a Bell and Howell stereo for my birthday i listened to all my Superman stories, KTELL records my dad ordered from me off TV. anyone remember KTELL hits?>
