  • chilling.... George Gittoes definitely has a big set of balls! love the edge his work captures and documents :)

  • I watched this on sbs too. Its an interesting documentry. What I was dumbfounded by is how theres one part where pimping among men was common in these heavily supressed society and where men were forbidden from meeting females besides thier families to the point men were commonly found to have sexual relations among each other

  • These people are not taliban just normal Pashtun

and we dont like cunts in our culture.

If they were taliban they would have beheaded em right on time.

  • 1:18 best moustache ever.

  • Cousin is in Recon force hoping to join soon.

My family (who has iranian blood in it)

we respect Islam but what these people are doing is definetly anti-islam and anti god.

We all worship the same god ,just in different ways, but killing people with IEDs is not the way to go.

    Respect to all muslims

    Oorah to all marines.

  • I was lucky enough to meet George last year at SUFF. Fascinating man and an equally fascinating film. I think it's his best one yet.

  • I watched it on SBS. Great effort by George. Very brave of him to do it.

  • i missed this film . I am so wishing I saw it. I am of pakistani origin! and the Talibaan are bad news for everyone who likes to smile.

  • Saw this film recently on sbs, fantastic, heart warming.

Is it true George didnt get a presale with sbs for this film, instead offering it finished, so they couldnt make changes to it?

  • i hate the idea of war, but if there is one justified war, it's against the ideology of fundimental islam. repressive medieval misogony and intolerance.
