The pro-amnesty side of the immigration debate paints themselves as champions for all immigrants. In reality, nobody is against structured and reasonable immigration that abides by law. However, when any group or individual arrives/remains in a country other than one in which they are a citizen/legal resident and not only expects but demands the same privileges afforded it's citizens and legal residents, they undermine a basic tenant of civilized society, abiding by law.

Fact is that immigrants, even those who are undocumented are not more likely to commit homicides than natives. Of course, there are murders comitted by them, all populations are have murderes among them. In many cities that have attracked most immigrants, such as LA and NYC, violent crime has decreased dramatically since the current immigration wave began.
