This is how I make my homemade wipes solution for my cloth diaper wipes. This is a way that works best for us. There are many different ways to do this.

  • I was wondering if you used wipes with solution from the start when he was a newborn or did you wait for a bit?

  • @1414Cori I have used cloth diapers and cloth wipes from the start.

  • Good point. Thank you :). I'm having a girl in April and I was just worried that it might irritate her. I have a 2 yr old boy still in diapers/ transitioning to pull ups so I thought it would still be beneficial to try. I was just worried about her. But like you said, maybe I will just do two separate containers - one w water and one w solution. How long can the wipes sit? Do they become moldy or anything if they aren't used right away? Thanks again for all your help!

  • @kcmatt10 I just reallized I was commenting on my other channel name. I was gonna use that channel for all things "homemade baby food" until I realized I didn't have time for that. lol Sorry

  • @carlynicoleelliotte Ha ha ha... that's ok. I was wondering why the name was different. Have you tried the homemade baby food? Because that's on my list too!

  • @kcmatt10 Yes, I have been making his food since he was 4mo old. He's 8mo now. I love making it and I find that I save quite a bit of money. I have heard some people say it's more expensive to make it but I don't think so. I have a few baby food videos up. I just don't have time to keep making them. Well, that and I make in bulk so I don't make it often.

  • I know some ask why the soap doesnt irritate the babys and the baby soap actually is a no rinse soap meaning you dont HAVE to rinse it, we would sometimes use it in nursing homes as well!

  • LOL - as a mommy, who needs extra work? :P Thanks!

  • This might be a silly question - but I don't understand how the soap doesn't irritate the baby's bottom? You don't "rinse" baby after using these wipes, right? I am interesting in making them but I don't want the baby to break out from not rinsing of the soap solution. Have you had any problems with this? Thank you - and great video, btw! :)

  • thats so awesome! great vid!
