UNICEF is determined to see that steps are taken to protect women and children from heinous crimes such as rape and sexual violence, and to make certain that all governments take swift and appropriate action against any and all criminals. This video includes images from Darfur, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Rwanda, as well as footage from the Beijing +10 World Conference on Women held in New York in 2005.

I was soldier in Shaba - Congo - I have seen the intelligence of the soldier over there and compare that with the culture of Congo where the men is the greatest... In this case 'pour intellect men without woman in the jungle' is it normal that they rape woman that pas them aria. The Belgium politics especially Minister De Gucht try to open the eye of the government in Kinshasa... But people as Precedent Kabila and more country in the area think just on... how much woman and cars can I have.

How stupid can the government get???? My thoughts and prayers goes out to the women. It is really a shame that the women have to put up with such garbage!! I am glad that UNICEF is there. My church does UNICEF trick or treat outings to raise money for people living in poor conditions.
